Portions of Alto Frio Baptist Encampment’s property, including cabins used for sleeping, fall within the 100-year Floodplain according to the FEMA Flood Map dated June 5, 1985. Alto Frio monitors weather conditions through NOAA Weather Radio, Radar Services, Weather Apps, Local News, and the Real County Emergency Management Office and maintains an Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan that includes Evacuation Procedures and a Public Address System to alert campers of any emergency.
